Which is an origin of palmaris longus?

Medial epicondyle of humerus

Lateral epicondyle

Palmaris longus comes from the medial epicondyle of the humerus, via the common flexor tendon. From there its tendon runs down the forearm and inserts into the palmar aponeurosis of the hand. The medial epicondyle is the origin for many forearm flexors; the lateral epicondyle is where the extensor muscles originate, which is why that site wouldn’t be the origin for this flexor muscle. The olecranon and coronoid process are parts of the ulna involved in other muscle attachments, not the origin of palmaris longus. So, the key origin to remember is the medial epicondyle.
